You Think You Know What Pressure Is?

I'm trying to pick the ten best Golden Girls episodes to show my favorite girlie girl tonight when she comes over for a Golden Girls sleepover while K. is in London for a quick weekend getaway.

It's making me sick to my stomach. I've never had to make such important decisions in my life.

I love the one with Lois Nettleton as the lesbian who comes to visit and is head-over-heels with Blanche...but Blanche doesn't realize she's the object of a lesbian's affections!

Obviously the Miles/Cheeseman/Amos Plankmaker episodes are required. And the one where Rose is dating a midget who dumps her because she's not Jewish, if only for Blanche's delivery of the word "Shrimp."

I always loved the one where they are trying to write a song about Miami....and tap dancing away.

"Miami...miami....you've got style!"

Also, the one where Sophia's wedding coincides with the Elvis "Hunk-a-Hunk-a Burnin' Love" fan club and 20 Elvis impersonators seranade them.

We own all of the DVD's and we watch them constantly. I don't know how you could pick just ten episodes and to be honest at the end of the day it wouldn't matter which ones you picked as they are all hilarious. The Golden Girls are the best. I hope whatever ones you choose you enjoyed you sleepover.

It was a raging success! The DVD selection, the fatsofoodfest -- including, but certainly not limited to, the most OUTRAGEOUS dip ever to come out of one man's E-Z Bake Oven (go to my site for photographic evidence!) -- the pomegranate cosmos that knocked both of us on our golden asses!
