Pills and Liquor

I had a good day yesterday. I made it out of the house for the first significant amount of time. I may have overdone it a little bit, feeling a little tender and tired, but it felt good to have a little bit of life again. My doctor called last night with my latest test results, but we're playing phone tag so I will have news for you when we've finally connected. It shouldn't be bad news, or he would have said to call him back immediately instead of anytime on Thursday, right? Here's hoping.

In the meantime, I thought I'd show you a little something:

Granted, two of those bottles are empty and have been replaced with refills. And there is the box of Italian oxycodone (which is surprisingly more hallucinogenic than its American counterpart) which the doctor got for me in Venice. But all of these prescriptions are less than three weeks old. Hence why the people at my local pharmacy know me on a first-name basis.

And yes - I keep my pills on top of our wine fridge. I call it "One Stop Shopping".

Is the framed cow pic always there or was it added for the shot?

I was surprised when I visited Italy the first time to see Italian prescription drugs dispensed in boxes and foil packs like our over-the-counter stuff is.
