TBS: True Barynard Story, a MAK! Channel Exclusive

Dark and Mysterious Narrator: In the spring of 1987, fifth-grader MAK got his first taste of sex education...if only he had realized it at the time. MAK, the black sheep of the elementary school, was always trying to fit in and prove his worth to the cooler kids. But his attempts to blend in often backfired....

Child #1: I was snooping around and found my brother's condoms!

Child #2: No way!

Child #3: That’s so rad!

Young MAK: Uh, cool!

Child #1: Oh come on, dork, I bet you don’t even know what condoms are.

Young MAK: Duh! My grandparents live in one.

You were actually pretty much on the mark. I can't ever recall having sex when I lived in a condo way back when.

Lived in one?

I thought condoms were things like ketchup and mustard. No?

Many, many, many years ago, Pat Sajak guest-hosted The Tonight Show when Johnny Carson went on vacation. He told this joke in his opening monologue, and I've always thought it was both funny and emblematic of what's wrong with America:

Boy #1: Hey, I found a condom out on the veranda!

Boy #2: What's a veranda?
