Last night, I cheered as I watched a midget haul a 55 lb. side of beef through the streets of Uruguay, all the while praying for lightning to strike down a couple of Jesus-loving pretty people and hoping that the earth would open up and swallow some insufferable twins.
Despite my lack of enthusiasm for reality television, I think I have a new favorite show. Damn him.

Posted by: bob at July 8, 2004 2:27 PMMy college roommate, who has a self-admitted irrational fear of midgets, left me a voicemail last night. Whispers, "Oh my God, C. There's a midget on The Amazing Race. This is my favorite show. I don't know if I can watch it anymore." She like to imagine that she and I will get on the show someday. We'll see.
Posted by: C at July 8, 2004 5:26 PMThey traded a gay contestant for a midget! We've been reduced to the level of midgets.
I feel an Amazing Race watching party coming on.
