-Eleven hours of drinking with the gay bloggers and our two divine hags
-Two fantastic gay bars
-One much-needed late night stop at Subway
-Four hours of sleep
-One undercooked omelette
-Six bloggers getting together for a lazy lunch at Rafaella's
-Twelve hours of stomach pains, fever and cramps from probable food poisoning due to the omelette
-One decent night's sleep to finally rid my body all of the toxins
-One trip to brunch - where I shall not have an omelette - with two bloggers in an attempt to hunt some twins (in process).
More to follow, I'm sure.
Posted by mak at May 23, 2004 1:05 PMI am SOOOOO jealous. I wanna party in NYC. At least there was no pecan pie involved. I would have hated to have missed that.
Posted by: Pam at May 23, 2004 2:10 PMSleep? Who needs sleep? Bring on another round of shots!
Posted by: PatCH at May 23, 2004 5:36 PMawwwwwwwww...food poisening? At Raphaella's? Blasphemy!! Glad you're feeling better. Missed you last night :(
Posted by: zenchick at May 23, 2004 5:58 PMdid you spot the twins?
There was twin hunting without me? How is that even possible?
Posted by: Charlie at May 24, 2004 2:54 AMWell, I'm glad it was the omlette and not the drinking. Can't have you going soft! ;) Although I doubt I'll be eating eggs at Raf's. Like, ever...
Posted by: MzOuiser at May 24, 2004 10:11 AMActually, the omelette wasn't at Rafaella's. I had a relatively delightful grilled chicken salad there. The eggs in question were from the deli around the corner from which Mark and I ordered breakfast Saturday morning. I've learned my lesson.
Posted by: MAK at May 24, 2004 10:29 AMdid you top off your chicken salad with some pumpkin cognac cheesecake???????
Posted by: L at May 24, 2004 11:39 AM"Finding the twins making out in a restaurant booth ... priceless."
Sorry - the post sounded like that MasterCard commercial for a moment. :-)
Posted by: palochi at May 24, 2004 1:25 PMTee hee. L said "top off your chicken."
Posted by: PatCH at May 24, 2004 2:01 PMWell, it just figures that the one weekend there's an event to end all events -- at least one I would consider attending, that is -- I was out of town. I'm just glad I had my own raucous fun in another city so I don't feel completely gypped.
Glad it was a rip-roarin' success! :-*
