Congrats to the hosts and participants of last night's WYSIWYG Talent Show at P.S. 122. For those of you who aren't in the know, this is a monthly reading featuring bloggers and their writings on a particular theme. Last night's The Dope Show was hysterically funny and a grand time. I'm bummed that I didn't get on the ball sooner and see their previous shows. I encourage all of you to attend future performances. You'll have a fantastic time, and for $7, it's the best deal in town.
Continuing on a blogger theme, I'd like to send you all over to read Orphic Mysteries Abound!, a newly-born blog by my girl, Little O. Little O (or Bacchanalia as she refers to herself on her site), is the beloved little sister of my former girlfriend. We became fast friends ourselves, and grew very close during the high school years. Apparently, closer than I thought, as she has confessed to having a wee bit of a crush on me (don't worry, Little O, I won't tell anyone...oops). Lucky for her, she gave up hope of winning me over and married a darling gentleman. Check her new blog out, and grow to love her as much as I do.
