I'd like to thank all of my readers for your respect of yesterday's post. To those of you who reached out via e-mail, Instant Messenger and phone, I greatly appreciate your thoughts and words. It means more than you can imagine. Needless to say, it's been a rough week, but it is getting better. Yesterday's post wasn't the best I've ever written, because I just started typing and let it ramble, but it was the most honest and pure.
Moving on with "normal" life, my sister and her husband (L. and T., respectively) arrive in New York this afternoon and will be staying with me through Sunday. I've spent far too much money on new and shiny things for my apartment in preparation for their visit, but, I must say, it looks pretty dang fabulous right now. What are houseguests good for, if not for getting you to really clean and organize a few times a year? I just hope they don't open any closets, or all the crap I piled in them to keep out of view might possibly cascade out and kill someone.
